By getting and using the HitBOX Tracker service, you indicate that you
have read this agreement and will respect its terms and conditions. You
agree to these rules:
- You will not create an account for a site with adult erotic
content or for a site that appears to be designed to promote adult
sites. If you want to create such an account, go to our
Adult Web Index.
- You won't do anything to falsify your statistics. If you do,
your account could be terminated forever.
- Only one HitBOX Tracker counter per page and one World1000TM
category per site. If you want to count multiple pages, you can create
additional HitBOX Tracker accounts. Please us if you are
mirroring your site.
- The URL displayed on the World1000 list must point to the page
being counted. The URL must point to your domain and not to someone
else's site. Please contact us if you have any special circumstances.
- You will not change the HitBOX Tracker HTML code. Our World
1000 button image must be visible on your page. Do not reduce or change
the width or height of the icon, change the click-through URL, or change
the ALT text. We may inspect your site to ensure compliance with this
agreement.
- If your site does not receive any visitors for two weeks, we
can remove it at any time.
- We reserve the right at any time, without notice, to change
these rules, remove any site from the World1000, or terminate or alter
any account.
- If your site name, domain name, or description contains any of
several explicit, offensive words or certain words designed to garner
visitor traffic from search engine results that we consider
inappropriate, your site will not be ranked.
- You may terminate your account at any time.
- Your Web site information (name, URL, traffic counts, etc.) may
be available, indexed, and searchable on the World1000 Web site.
WebSideStoryTM retains ownership and all rights to the HitBOX Tracker
logos, trademarks, software, trade secrets, databases, reports, and Web
site.
The HitBOX Tracker services are provided on an "AS IS, AS AVAILABLE"
basis. WebSideStory does not guaranty the availability of the HitBOX
Tracker services or the World1000 Web site. You agree not to hold us
responsible for data loss of or interruption of service of any kind.
This Agreement will be construed and enforced in accordance with the
laws of the State of California without regard to its conflict of laws
principles. Venue for any dispute under this Agreement will be San
Diego County, California.
